Camera Repair

Featured Replies

Lens in my camera is jammed so it just beeps and turns itself off again when I turn it on.

Anyone know anywhere I could have it looked at? Anywhere in Kad Suan Kaew?

I don't know, and would suggest messaging member "Greenside" who leads (still?) the local photography club.

My best guess would be "Den Chai" which is a camera centre to the north east of the moat, on the road to JJ Market and Tesco Lotus, turn left at the first lights coming from the moat and its the large building on the right just before the Mercedes dealership, about 100yds from the lights. Google coordinates: 18.800459, 98.993994

What camera type,, manufacturer and model? We then might be able to guide you to the right place.

Without a doubt the most professional shop in Chiang Mai is "Photo Bug."

They now have four different outlets, but the main shop is on Chiang Puak Road, about 150m north of the moat on the left side.

Denchai Trading is very similar to shops like PowerBuy. Staff hired to point at boxes of various items with absolutely no idea of what's inside. Nice folks but not knowledgeable about what they are selling except for the price tag. A good place to make a purchase if you already know everything you need about what you want to buy.

PhotoBug's staff are all photographers, most with an indepth understanding of camera and related equipment. It's where the pro's shop.
