PHUKET: -- Two men were arrested in Rassada yesterday (May 14) for dealing drugs after information received from undercover agents.

Police seized 49.30 grams of crystal meth and 117 meth pills, along with a digital scale, drug-taking paraphernalis and a Honda City car they believe was used to transport drugs.

The two men,Witthawat Kaewthapaya, 34, from Nakorn Srithammarat and Arnat Sukjareon, 19, from Satun were arrested at their digs on Rassadanusorn Rd when police staged a raid at 5pm.

Witthawat told police he had bought the drugs from another dealer on May 1, paying B2,000 per gram for the ice and B22,000 for 200 meth pills.

“I picked the drug up at the parking lot of the Tesco-Lotus in Thung Song in Nakhon”, he admitted,” and after we brought them home, Arnat and I divided up the drugs into small bags to sell in the area,”

Both were charged with possession of a Category 1 drug with intent to sell.

I have never been a been a supporter of capital punishment but those two pieces of redundant biomass make me question my stand.

what is it about Phuket that attracts so many villains it is fast becoming a mecca of crime it seems every day there is a new crime.

...or perhaps the police had been told to take the drug problems in Phuket more seriously.
