Two arrested following recent Chinese Bag Snatch in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:--On Friday Morning, Banglamung Police announced the arrest of two men wanted in connection with a bag snatch which occurred on 20th May in North Pattaya.

The victim of the crime is Miss Chem Pelming aged 50 from China who, on 20th May, was walking in front of the Siam Pura Resort in Soi 17 off the Naklua Road with her Husband when a motorbike approached and the passenger leant over and grabbed her handbag which contained 1,761 Yuan, a Nikon Digital Camera and two smart phones.

Police were contacted and were able to follow the pair to Soi Potisan in North Pattaya, thanks to a set of CCTV cameras which were working.

It took Police two days to arrest the suspects, Khun Egachai aged 20 and a 17 year old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
