WOT...CLOSED....... :o

From the Nations weekend Guide to pubs in Bangkok. :D

Narrow but nice

The Toby Jug Pub in the shadow of Sala Daeng Skytrain Station on Silom Road may

be the narrowest pub in Bangkok, measuring about half a shophouse in width which makes it quite dangerous on darts night. ..however...

It also has the only cook in Bangkok whom we know has psychic abilities.

This means your meal is brought to your table before you finish ordering it.

Well. . .perhaps not that fast, but the pub is certainly not tardy when it comes to serving its pub fare ? true blue British stodge.

The menu is extensive: bangers and mash, pies and chips/mash, fish and chips, et al.

It?s hearty fare, and most meals cost less than Bt100.

Good value, friendly staff and an engaging narrowness ? that?s ..the Toby Jug Pub. :D
