northernjohn
This is the Chiang Mai forum. It would seem that things vary from office to office. Not always the same. Have heard that Mae Hongson is just a bunch of nit pickers (sounds better than bastards). Good luck. You might want to take a picture of you and the wife sitting on the bed. I have heard people say they were asked for one.
MESmith
Nitpickers asking for some extra documents sounds like bliss compared to the chaos at Chiang Mai immigration the last few years. Consider yourself lucky
Pond Life
I was tempted to give them a pic of me sitting on the toilet, but the wife wouldn't let me. Yes, its the CM forum, but MHS doesn't have a forum yet, mods ?

Beautiful town. Love the lake.
