Mechanical keyboards - tenkeyless

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can get a high quality mechanical keyboard? Specifically, a tenkeyless model and it must have red or brown Cherry switches.

I'd really like a Ducky dk2087 or a Corsair K65, but I can't find anyone that stocks them, or will ship them to Thailand without horrendous fees. The only models I've seen locally were a Razer, which I would prefer to avoid, and a Roccat which looked good but was loud because the keys bottom out on the case, which the half the point of using a quiet switch anyway.

You'd think stocking a few tenkeyless boards would be a no brainer, but it's driving me nuts.

Thanks.

If no-one else has comes up with a more direct solution, maybe you could try to see if InvadeIT (a ThaiVisa sponsor) might be willing to special-order one for you, as they have Corsair, Steel Series, CM Storm, Tt eSports and Asus keyboards with Cherry MX switches for sale on their website.

Have you tried invade or jib? Both have good websites although jib needs google translate.

Have seen a lot of mechanical keyboards around but cant say I have paid attention to specific brands...never heard of tenkeyless until I googled it just now!

I have a Rosewill RK9000BR (I am typing this on it). Bought it at Panthip placa. Somewhere in the upper floors, a bit in the back is a small shop.

I recommend to try a keyboard before you buy them, even with the same switches they feel a bit different.

Thanks, I tried Invade and JB, they don't have them. I found a Rosewill RGB80 and a CM Storm Novatouch in Jet Computing at Fortune, but the tenkeyless version of the Rosewill uses knock off switches that have mixed reviews (unlike the full sized version), and the Novatouch also has mixed reviews and costs a bomb (north of 6,000 baht).

Ducky Channel has one official retailer in Thailand, IT-works, but they are also out of stock for TKL models. www.gump.in.th has Filco and CM Storm TKL on their website, but everything is "temporarily out of stock", not sure how serious this site is.

I've written to IT Works and Gump asking if they will be getting new stock in, but 99% chance of "mai rue" :)

Not willing to ask InvadeIT if they can special order?

They don't stock Ducky, so I gave up. Found a backlit DK 2087 on Aliexpress with free shipping, so anyway hopefully one's on the way.

I first asked InvadeIT, and they were very helpful...
