Samsung smart phone. Works with my finger or I Crayon or a pencil. Not a wood chopstick.

Why is that? Is it the lead in the pencil? Chopstick nor worky. Pencil worky. Even if I put nail polish on the end of the pencil still works (you don't want to know). Why is that?

DIY Capacitive Stylus

Capacitive pens are available from about 100baht at most phone accessory stores..

Maybe an eraser is conducting current and the increase touch sensitivity setting on my phone means it is more sensitive to current (although that is not what I first assumed). How the heck does an eraser conduct current? It must though because wood and plastic don't move the screen. Does the metal stylus from my galaxy notebook work on my galaxy phone? No. The stylus is metal?

Bought an ICrayon and that works fine buy my stylus in my notebook does not work on my phone and I thought that was a capacitive pen. Although I could be wrong.

It works great and a nice size. For typing I made a pencil a little longer for ease of grip. Buy any kind of coloring the Icrayon is good. Plus they come in different colors so I can coordinate my phone and crayon.

I have started using a stylus pen when i am using my iphone 5 and for somebody with fat fingers it is a massive improvement .

What makes it easy is typing with swift key or a program like that. The typing program looks at all of the things you have typed and predicts your next key stroke. Writing my wife only takes few keystrokes because I say a lot of the same things over and over with a slightly different order. I type "L" and my swift key types "love" as a choice. My ICrayon works on my phone and my notepad. The stylus works on my Samsung notepad but not my Samsung phone. My own awesome designed pencil stylus works on my Samsung phone but not on my Samsung tablet which leads me to believe the screens on the tablet and galaxy phone are different.
