Gaetz withdraws from AG
I love the way some folks portray Gaetz as somehow falling on his sword on this great withdrawal. All for the greater good. If his nomination wasn't so seriously wrong in the first place, it would all be bloody hilarious. Even Trump's acknowledgment of his standing down with, "Matt has a wonderful future, and I look forward to watching all of the great things he will do!" suggests good luck (but not with my administration). Some of Trump's picks look OK and most all will probably get confirmation without too much dirty laundry being aired. Gaetz always was a no-hoper. -

Why are you now deflecting into guns? Guns and violence were not the issue with the Drag Queens in elementary schools. I would say based on posts that issue is more realistic on this forum. -

Yeah, but you didn't say whether or not TRD is happy with all that paper, with no checks attached. Probably as we speak, they're rewriting the law. Or not -- make work ploys save jobs, especially those of bureaucrats. I've only suggested TEDA be brought into the picture to see if you owe taxes -- and if so, then to avoid tax evasion you need to file. But, if you've only got 60k in assessable income, forget TEDA, as you have no tax liability. But the rules say you should file. That the rules suck, and need to be dealt with appropriately, is the cruz of this discussion -- not TEDA and need to file if taxes owed. -

People easily forget. He promised to cut the deficit. He added $8T. He promised to build a wall. He only did 458 miles out of 2,000. Most of it was repair or replacement, not new. He promised to make Mexico pay. They didn't. We did. He promised to unveil a new healthcare plan. It didn't exist. He promised a middle-class tax cut. He cut taxes for the rich. The middle class is paying for it. He said he wouldn't play golf as President. He made 250 visits (way more than Obama) to his own golf clubs. It cost taxpayers $150 million. He said he'd increase economic growth by 4%. Nope. Biden did. He promised an infrastructure plan. He had none. President Biden signed a massive one. He promised to hire "the best people." He fired 3/4 of them and then said they were the worst ever, and they said HE was in fact the worst ever. He promised to bring down the price of prescription drugs. He didn't: Biden did. He promised a Hillary lock-up. Nope. Promised we'd win the trade war with China. Nope, It cost about 250,000 jobs and hurt Americans, not help them. He promised his corporate tax cuts would help and benefit Workers, and corporations would use that money to invest in American workers. They didn't, they used that money to buy back stocks. He promised to revive the coal industry. Never happened: more coal jobs were lost during his presidency. -

Right, let me get this straight. You do not believe that Expats who have stayed in Thailand beyond 180 days in 2024 are classified as Tax Residents of Thailand and if they have remitted ' Assessable Income ' that exceeds that 60k / 120k / 220 k threasholds laid down by the RD, and have to file a tax return. Have I got that correct ? Penalties and enforcement, or lack thereof, are not my concern
