Read some conflicting infos about the severity/range of affected devices.

More sounds like only devices delivered to AT&T and Verizon.

Not anyway near 600 million.

Happens at open WiFi hotspots compromised by hackers.

This includes the user and the hacker physically being on the same unprotected network while downloading a language update.

Do you frequently download language updates at compromised open WIFi hotspots?

I don't.

To me it sounds way overblown. A big hot air balloon.

Another ego booster for some security expert.
