Australian Aged Pension
There's a few recent youtube videos from law and accounting firms in the other threads about this. They have qualified Thai tax experts saying otherwise. Who should we believe, a low ranked TRD staff member, or the various Thai tax experts? If the same guy went to a different province and asked someone in the TRD there the same questions, and got different answers, which version would / should he accept? -

Thailand and Japan Unite to Modernise Port Operations and Development
File photo for reference only On the 10th anniversary of their collaboration, the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) and Yokohama City in Japan have announced a formal agreement to enhance port operations and infrastructure. The initiative, emphasised by Deputy Prime Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit, targets improvements in marketing, technology, and sustainability at Bangkok Port while enhancing its environmental and community engagement. Yokohama will lend expertise to Bangkok Port development, focusing on space optimisation and establishing green port practices. This strategic move aims to boost Thailand's standing as a regional logistics hub. The collaboration also promises academic support to decarbonise and digitise operations, reinforcing Bangkok Port's competitive position. As part of the long-standing alliance, PAT's visit to Yokohama not only celebrates the decade-long relationship but also augments future port city projects, including transforming Bangkok Port into a distribution centre. Developments aiming to enhance local community life alongside improved technology for traffic management are also planned. Moreover, PAT envisions a passenger cruise terminal to promote tourism, further capitalising on Bangkok Port's riverside location. With Japan as Thailand's significant trading partner, Bangkok aims to replicate Yokohama's success, whose port facilitates vast container movement and tourism, essential to its economy. This international cooperation marks an optimistic step towards innovative and sustainable growth in Thai-Japanese port relations, promising economic and community benefits around Bangkok Port. -- 2025-01-23 -

1 TB Micro sd card
I'm looking at 1TB micro SD cards for a phone (don't ask why) I can buy Sandisk at Advice for 2990 Baht However I have read in a review that Silicon Power is a good value choice. Neither Advice or JIB appear to stock the brand. I did a google for it (for Thailand ) and it came up with a company I had not heard of before - Invade IT. They actually only have RAM memory for this brand BUT they do have a good offering of 1 TB micro SDs including Samsung EVO at 3K baht Lazada has lots of micro SDs on offer at ridiculous prices (high and low) and whilst I buy a lot of various products from them micro SDs are a NO NO Anyone used Invade IT before or know where I can source Silicon Power micro SDs or should I stick with Western Digital and Advice? -

Thai Tax Laws for Expats: the Practical Implications versus the Realities
Which person that you don't know, do you want to believe ? In my case, it's irrelevant, as my income is exempt for taxation. But will there be a penalty for not filing. Or, will I need to get a tax receipt, before visa extension approved, which will cost me ~2500 baht anyway. 1900 for 30 extension, 500 for new bank paperwork, maybe. Along with, another 200 kms drive, since Imm Office is 100 kms away. Myself, I'll probably pop over the the local RD, and ask myself. With my phone on, recording, and if they state, don't bother, then I won't, but have a record. Or simply file, depend what mood I'm in. I'll probably file, since there, and I like doing things legally when in a foreign country, most times, especially if it might cost me money later, if I don't play nice. The op hasn't provided any info, and simple repeated all the useless info, we've already read. It really is too easy for Imm to simply ask for your tax filing record / receipt. No Have ... come back when you do. Same as they do now with your income info to extend. No extra staff, no extra work,, actually less, (now FO till you have) just a new extra form for you to copy, and sign. And before you leave ... Here's your 2000 baht fine, just like when you miss your 90 day pulse check -

Delivery Rider Killed in Road Rage Incident Involving Indian Driver on Sukhumvit Road
Losing face can never be a free-ticket to kill somebody. They should grow up and act like a adult instead as a pissed off child.
