My startpage has been hijacked by the startsear.info malware.

I have run several programs that claim to be able to remove startsear, but they don't work. For example, Adw, does not remove startsear.

Anybody knows a removal program that actually works ?

Malwarebytes is very good...& it's free too!

Have used it a few times & always gets rid of pups etc.

I would like to warn against the program spyhunter. You can download spyhunter and scan the computer for free, But when the scan is finished it tells you that it will not remove threats unless you pay first.

get eset nod32 anti virus. Any massive programming nerd will tell you that is what they put on their annoying family member's computers when they get viruses every day.

You've heard of conduit? It's hard to get rid of. Well eset nod32 just removes it in 1second and it never comes back. It's the hero we need for the geniuses that cant stop clicking everywhere.
