Hi guys,

Next month I must go to renew my UK passport which I have since learned is carried out in the Trendy Office building, not at the embassy as before.

I will be heading to Bangkok the day before my appointment and so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to stay within walking distance of the Trendy Office building?

I'm on a budget as always so a guest house would be fine. Anyways just thought I'd ask and see if anyone has done this recently :-)

A couple of 600 baht a night places on soi 4 which is as cheap as you're going to get for that area.

Guest houses are not the norm in thailand ... hotels are in adequate supply.

Not sure what visa your supporting, but one would have thought a tourist visa would require sufficient funds to accommodate one's expenses during the term of the travel.

Go to Nana down Soi 4, maybe get a cheap place there ....

600 Baht a night sounds spot on, I'll check out Soi 4 when I arrive, cheers!
