We consider to have a company webpage on Facebook.

I have no clue at all what this facebook is about.....I am missing the point complete. Anyone know a webpage that explain things for someone who lived the last 30 years in a cave?

Do people search on Facebook for products? And wouldn't see my competitors my customer?

Actually using Google search for a product or item now quite often goes to a company or business Facebook page for it. Sometimes I will do a search on Facebook for a company presence. I have a Thai friend at work whose wife has a small Thai crafts business and uses Facebook and seems to do ok but she has a very niche product. One important key to this is SEO and find means of promoting the site and product just as you would with a regular website. Ads on Facebook itself are available for example.
