NRC committee details national vision of quality personnel

BANGKOK, 13 August 2015 (NNT) - The National Reform Council (NRC) committee on designing Thailand’s vision and strategic plan for development has proposed that the key to national development is improving Thai labor.

1st Asean film festival in Bangkok

BANGKOK: -- SF Cinema Group is hosting the first Bangkok Asean Film Festival, to welcome the upcoming establishment of the Asean Economic Community.

The group announced today that the festival will feature the best 10 films from all 10 member countries. They will be screened at SF World Cinema CentralWorld during August 27-30. They will also be subsequently screened in Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen and Surat Thani.

Sweden drops some sex cases against Assange

Indonesia navy nabs cargo ship loaded with slave-caught fish

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — A massive refrigerated cargo ship believed to be loaded with slave-caught fish was seized by Indonesia's navy and brought to shore after The Associated Press informed authorities that it had entered the country's waters, officials said Thursday.
