August 17, 201510 yr To enter Malaysia you need roman plates .. I have a small sticker on my windscreen and another on my rear pannier, not official Size but never an issue. On Saturday, I forgot I was riding without the panniers and the guy at the border made me return (walk) back, without stamping out and in - I convinced the police guys there to let me in ( wasn't hard but still awkward and time consuming ) get a rear sticker made then walk back. He then made me put it across my topbox before processing my paperwork. Just wondering, what do people with sport bikes do ? Stick the plate on their backside ? I used to ride the CBR over the border with only a front plate and no insurance/ICP .. Only when I start to do things officially - I get problems.
