how to use google dns

I just had 3bb fiber installed and nothing works(except skype) when i use google dns. Switch back to default and it works fine

anyone manage to use it?

They won't give me the correct password for the fiber modem so it could be there, i have nothing special in my computer. Plugged in the ethernet and with google dns it does not load anything but skype

You do not have to change the DNS in your Modem/Router. You can change the DNS in your Computer(s), mobile phones, tablet-computers, internetradios etc...

On the other hand: most routers of the TH-providers have standard passwords (use google to find out).

no theres a retarded nonsense button on the side of the router and by clicking it i was able to start using vpns and google dns.
