Speedboat: Rules And Driving For Farangs.

Hi everybody!

I live in Pattaya and would like to buy 5-6 meters speedboat.

Maybe anybody can help me.

Are there any restrictions to bying and driving speedboat for farangs in Thailand?

If you get in an accident, it is your fault, even if someone falls out of the sky and lands on your boat. You stopped them from having a safe landing in the water.

If a Thai national or an idiot tourist on a jet ski rented to him by a Thai national flies into your boat and dmages your boat, you, your passengers and/or himself and his jet ski--like it sinks, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE, even if you are at anchor!!!

Are you familar with the damage that salt has on a boat? Boats are holes in the water that you pour money into. Please find a safer and less expensive hobbie.
