FolkGuitar Asked Me To Start A Thread For Him.

Featured Replies

You can read his post here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/853866-does-current-state-of-traffic-and-driving-in-chiang-mai-restrict-your-daily-activities/?p=9825069 Where he says "please start a thread about that. If you don't like the answers you are getting in this thread, that's nobody's problem but yours."

Now, I have never asked the mods to close a thread I started because I didn't like the direction the conversation was going, but he has, as evidenced in this thread here. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/822181-my-compliments-to-local-thai-car-drivers/

In the thread about current driving conditions, there were opposing viewpoints that were met with friendly discussion. Folkguitar chimed in , and despite the fact that his daily events are dictated by traffic conditions to the point he doesn't own a car, felt the need to offer a contrary opinion saying things were A-OK. As if we were asking the opinion of someone who lives in an apartment building within walking distance of all of their daily needs. Now, if any other poster had such a contradictory stance in two different threads, I think anyone that remembered their stance (which I did) would be quick to point out that they are changing what they say, just to try and agitate the forum.

He has also bogged down threads where he insulted posters for requesting to be charged accurately in accordance with marked item prices. He got laughed at in that thread, as he had nothing to fight back with. He also started this thread here : http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/828918-pretty-good-experience-at-cm-immigration/ In which he states how, since he is so perfect, his trip to immigration went so smoothly. Well, the thing he didn't mention is that he was there the day before checking to confirm his appointment time, and that is how much confidence he has in the system. But ya, the average farang moaning about going to immigration is nothing but a big whiner and a complainer.

So, yes, I do look at his profile to see if he is spewing out terrible advice, and I know he lives for his 'likes', as his reputation on here is so important. So, I give him what he wants, just like I am here.

There are a few "contrarians" on TFV, L.B. is right up there, all good for a chuckle.

I understand where you are coming from. I know of posters out there just waiting to make me look bad.

I know several posters who continually lie but I keep it to myself as after all this is an anonymous

forum and one can post what they like and often do.

As for the other forum of course the additional traffic bothers me. I walk and have to be more

careful.

Perhaps some professional help, Larry?

Wow, another clever and witty response from Folkguitar!! Let me guess, you say things like 'whoa buddy, you've got a little too much time on your hands' , 'oh my God, too much information!' along with the even funnier 'did you forget to take your meds today!'. You must be the life of the party.

Pretty much what was expected. Can't justify any of your stances, so attack the messenger.
