This guy wandered around a military court in Bangkok for about 10 minutes. A day later staff raised the alert when they saw him on video. To military officers, he looked of Arab descent. A vice admiral thinks he was just a tourist looking for a toilet.

BANGKOK — A bomb scare briefly broke out at Bangkok’s military court after a man with a large backpack wandered in one day before the two men accused of staging last month’s bomb attack were scheduled to appear.

Low reserves at Lamtakong Dam
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The Lamtakong Dam's reserves, at 100 million cubic metres, are only one third of its capacity, said Suthiroj Kongkaew, Lamtakong Dam irrigation and maintenance project director.

At 100.299 million cubic metres, it is only 31.89 per cent of the 314 million cubic metre capacity. It is the first time in this year that the reserves exceeded the 100 million cubic metres mark.

Suthiroj said he was hopeful that at the end of October, the reserves would rise to 50 per cent of capacity. That would allow the dam to support all agricultural activities of over 500,000 people in six districts.

To cope with unexpected events, the dam has released less water or released no water at all if it rains downstream, he said.
