Cambodian stabbed over admiration of woman on Jomtien Beach



PATTAYA: -- On Wednesday Night, Police and medics were called to Jomtien Beach, close to the entrance of Soi Watboon, following reports of a 19 year old Cambodian who had been stabbed in the stomach.

The suspected attacker, also a Cambodian, was arrested nearby after the entire event was witnessed by many people who were able to direct Police to where the attacker was.

Mr. Rattana, who works for a Hotel in Jomtien was sent to hospital as Police questioned his 19 year old Cambodian attacker, Mr. Boonchert, who also works for a Hotel in South Pattaya.

He told Police that the pair were friends on Facebook and they were both pursuing the same woman. The victim would constantly taunt the suspected attacker with messages on Facebook and on Wednesday Night, the pair decided to meet on Jomtien Beach to clear the situation.
