= The Germans will tell them they need to spend a bit of money in order to make things more efficient and safe, and that idea will get tossed into "Ye' Olde Garbage Can/Circular File".

The ONLY way we (as a US company) could sell anything in Thailand was to hire a local agent (who I later worked with freelance), so he could bribe his way into the local contracts.
