I'm a US citizen and will be flying from Bangkok to Da Nang with one stop and plane switch at Ho Chi Minh City. With my visa on arrival letter, at which airport would I get my visa--HCMC or Da Nang?

You will get your visa in Hcmc

On your letter you filled in Hcmc. Correct?

Befor passing through immigration at Hcmc airport just on the left of immigration check point, there is an office that will issue you your visa. Have the following

Your approval letter

Visa application form filled in with visa fee and photo. USD best. Sit down and wait. Named called walk to counter pay the fee. Done. Download form and fill in befor you arrive so your straight into queue.

Then fly on to da nang

jacksam, I haven't applied for the letter yet because I'm unsure of the specific airport for visa. Da Nang is my final destination but I'll change planes in HCMC from Bangkok.

OP you apply for Hcmc as this is your first point of entry. The procedure from there will be as outlined in my earlier post. I just checked this info with the online company I use as to be certain. They confirmed this. Think most of the companies are good. One I use I rate a 10.

Exactly correct. OP send off your online email. Cost about 16USD , letter back next day and enjoy vietnam
