Visa agency recommendations for UK visa?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Thai partner is looking to either get a Tier 2 work visa or an unmarried partner visa (unsure which one at the moment). If anyone has any experience with an agency who has successfully helped with one of these visas, I'd appreciate if you could point me towards their website or provide a phone number. Thai based or UK based would be fine.

Thanks

Firstly, she has to decide what she wants to come to the UK for.

Does she want to come to the UK to work for a limited time (6 years max) and then return to Thailand? If yes, then she applies for a Tier 2 (General) visa.

Or does she want to come to the UK to live indefinitely with you, her unmarried partner? If yes, then she applies for a settlement visa as an unmarried partner.

Provided, of course, she qualifies for whichever one suits her purpose. If she doesn't, there is nothing any visa agent can do to change that.

Secondly, the only visa agent in Thailand I know enough about to have any confidence in recommending is this forum's sponsors; Thai Visa Express.

I don't know any visa agents in the UK well enough to recommend one.

I suggest that before choosing an agent you read the pinned topic Visa Agents.

Hi 7by7,

Many thanks for your reply.

I have found that the unmarried partner visa is out of the question as the living requirement of having lived together for 2 years consequitively is not met.

Looking into a Tier 2 visa now.

Thank you for your recommendation and the guides you have linked.
