non-B and non-O

Featured Replies

need advice with our visas.

i, thefather has single entry non-B visa until the 1st of december 2015. wife and 10 year old daughter has non-O visas until 1st of december 2015.

my work permit lasts 23rd april 2016.

i, alone, need to leave thailand on the 13th december for a week.

i have learned that the work permit must have left minimum of 8 months during applying for a year non-B.

i am a lot confused with all the regulations. could any one help advice how i can solve this with minimum cost.

thank you

If your job, company and your salary meet the requirement you will be able to apply for a one year extension of stay at immigration. There is no 8 month requirement to get it.

Once you get your one year extension your family can get one as your dependents.

You should not need to go out to apply for a multiple entry non-b visa which does require 8 month validity to get in Penang.

If you wish for your wife and child to remain in the country you should , with documentation from your employer, be applying for a one year extension of stay from immigration.

Once you have an extension the family can get extensions of stay as your dependents.

If you secure an extension and wish to travel a re-entry permit is available from immigration. Single entry 1000Bht , Multi-entry 3800 Bht.

what are these requirements?

Your employer should know what is required..

See clause 2.1 of Police Order 327/2557 basis for extension of stay for the basic requirements.

i don't seem to fulfill the criteria as this is a company i ve started 9 months ago.

besides the extension -which would be a great release, what other options do you recommend?

If you have a work permit valid for at least 8 months you can get a multiple entry non-b visa in Penang Malaysia.
