Singha heir denies grudge against Chang Beer

KIRIN which is brewed by San Miguel here in Thailand, has been in my Foodland for more than a year. However, it is somewhat disappointing when compared to the bottles I use to drink in Tokyo.

The Carlsberg (brewed in KL) is currently my 'best' choice for beers in LOS.

KIRIN here tastes nothing like the ones in Japan.

Anyone here likes Beer Lao - Dark?

Yes, I do. It is one of my favourite, but with the price of 65 baht for a small bottle is too much. Thailand is overly protective when it comes to beer. They murder any exports by taxing them over the roof. 200 Baht beers of 0.3 l volume is just ridiculous. If I drink beer, I drink it properly and money wise it is too expensive to buy imported beers.

Khun Piti is of course just acting as good citizen to instigate the full force of the law against his main local competitor.

its just not fair how families get to hold onto monopolies.... no competition so the economy must go down.
