FLR M Application Waiting Time

Featured Replies

hi could anyone one advice on current waiting time to get a decision on FLR (M) thanx

Checking elsewhere it seems June applications are coming through. Sadly it is a bit like 'how long is a piece of string?'. Sometimes you go to the bottom of a short pile, sometimes a tall one!

Sadly you get what you get when they get round to it!

Only one way to know for certain and that's the personal visit to the PEO. Though, the premium is obviously hard on the pocket. Probably why they call themselves premium service centres.

As I indicated in another topic - about 3 weeks. Sent at the end of Sept. received back mid Oct. BRP received a few days later. So a good experience in my opinion.

Update for any one waiting we applied on the 16th Oct letter to get biometrics about a week later and letter dated 27th November visa granted

Hi guys

We applied late sept got letter back saying would be done within 8 weeks spoke to them about two weeks ago man said all payments done you just have to wait

Is this the norm or best to ring back again

As we may go back after new year but no passport so don't want to book anything yet

Good luck with the letter, wilbs. It's a waiting game and may well be for some months to come.

Not sure I'd bother making further communication at the three month mark unless it was absolutely necessary.

A PEO visit is the only guaranteed outcome of an answer on the day. The answer might not be what you want to hear, but it's same-day. Otherwise, you'll have to wait.

When we were going though all the flr it looked to me they worked on your application on the date they received it.So if they got on 21 next month on21 next stage but if 21 is holiday or weekend lose a month!

Received package yesterday all done now just have to wait for her BRP card

So that took about 3 months for a postal application well at least saved some money

Another (very quick) FLR processing time for anyone interested:

14/12/2015 - application received by the Home Office

22/12/2015 - biometrics given at post office (letter received the day before)

06/01/2016 - biometric residence permit received

08/01/2016 - letter received confirming successful application, along with passport and supporting documents
