My story is not the kind TV members will find relevant..

What will it cost to get a simple website up and who to ask?

Weebly do a good free website. Once created go into your Google console and add your site.

Caution. Be careful what you say about what and whom, or else you may be doing time at the Bangkok Hilton.

First, thanks to all, and what I want to publish is kind of a warning to stay away from a local business

who is now bankrupt, all the information are true and correct, no slender or bad mouthing, jus the facts.

That's as it may be or how you see it.

But if you are linked to the article if published and it links back to you here in Thailand you may well find that the law and any plaintiff may well have a very take on the matter.

Be very careful in that which you say

Now you say ''the business is bankrupt''.

Now is that in a judicial sense or hearsay? Either way you will be treading a very thin weak tightrope.

The business and himself ( 2 entities ) were declared bankrupt by the bankruptcy court, however, the plaintiff

has made it clear that he intend continuing trading, my intentions are is bring to attention of people who searches

for his trading company the fact that this business the business and the owner have been legally bankrupt and thus

are prohibited fro carrying on business under the current set up... just stating the facts,

Do please be very, very careful. Defamation and slander are criminal offences in Thailand, it makes no odds that what you say is true you can still end up in a world of hurt.

This is the very reason Thaivisa does not permit "name and shame" posts, too risky for Thaivisa and the poster.

Which is a bit of a bummer really and could have saved many from a hill of pain.

Not sure about Thailand regulations, bet there are many forms of 'bankruptcy', many of which allow the bankrupt 'entity' to continue doing business.

Bankruptcy is a process, not a declaration of being out of business.

No, Not Andrew, however, I shall consult my lawyer to see if such action is legal or not, I detest people

who screwed you up, stringing you along for years owing millions and hiding and still going on about their

tricks, I loath those people with a passion, and there quite a number of them around..

as for name and shame, I will not go there,I know better than that... and thanks for all the inputs...

It doesn't matter if your facts are right or wrong, if you publish something defamatory online in Thailand, they can and probably will have you done.

Have there not been enough high profile cases recently to educate you in this regard? PhuketWan/Drummond, etc.?
