Visa Run On Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

I am curious to know how long would I be able to stay in Thailand on a Tourist Visa and doing the Visa run every 2 months? Up to a year? Two? ten?

What's the chances to be refused 'In' when doing a Visa run? Or do they let you 'In' on a limited days to get the ###### out of the country for good?

Why one would be refuse re-entry? ( Example coming back from Visa run )

Thanks for the tips - I am slowly getting up to date and sooner than later will be flying to Thailand again.

Save yourself grief. Get a non-immigrant multi entry visa before you return to Thailand. It is said that come July, repeated permits to enter for 30 days will be limited

kindly direct me to your source? personally i read in the pattaymail about change this coming June, but this was for holders of non-immigrant 'o' visas, but nothing concerning most peoples who stay here on a tourist visa. perhaps holders of the longer stay visa look down on us habituals? so are you in the know? kind regards.

That might well be true ... but this tale emanates from the Immigration Division of the Royal Thai Police. Immigration frowns on the walkers because they see lots of folk border walking and of very limited means. That is what I am told they have in their sights. But T i T ... one never knows. Certainly some border points have already toughened their stance.

wanted: ideas on who would be the least likely 'visa tour group' to extort monies from us foreigners. i hear mr. boon is a bit of a cowboy and some of the new guys are a better bet. ideas kindly appreciated. thank you.

and the Pattaya Mail is the font of all knowledge ? You do it your way. Chok dee na :o

in the best possible taste. dear pong majesty. may i continue. can we assume that it is now (currently) easier to cross the border as a habitual visa offender than to take risk offering your hard earned money to immigration officials/ consulate who may or may not grant you a non immigrant visa 'o'/ other? Your web site is the best site i've viewed to date. Keeep up the good work dr_pat_pong. Thank you.

Thaimee.
