Normally the announcer in a muay Thai match gives a lengthy excited "Dteeeee" when a kick or punch lands.

I was disappointed none of the onlookers took the opportunity to emulate this cry when the security gave her a welly. It would have added to the authenticity and perhaps encouraged the alleged slapper to make more of an effort to land one back.

If they cant give hospitality in the hospitality business then they should quit.

It makes absolutely no difference what the girls occupation is as she was trying to book a hotel room for her partner (with HER I.D), this made her the customer of the hotel not her boyfriend.

Unless there is a sign at reception stating we do not accept room reservations from suspected sex workers then what right do the 2 morons have for even refusing her let alone trying to beat the crrap out of her?

As this was Pattaya I expect the ex-receptionist will be paid a visit later in the week by some motocy taxi guys, that will explain more easily why 2 big boys (questionable) dont kick the ..... out of girls beatdeadhorse.gif

so nobody sees a problem with assaulting her? He might have been trying to do the right thing but there was n reason to resort to violence. He deserves to be fired. He will probably go home and beat his wife and kids after this.

exactly, some very sad posters making up some vague unsupported allegations about this girl, I note for one that it is during the day, the reason her boyfriend is not present is possibly because he is not in Thailand yet and she was making a booking for him.

The abusive staff members should have been arrested and charged with assault, absolutely shocking

Being in the business, this is very common.

Some hookers are very rude to Thai staff, they talk down to people who actually really work.

Should have called the police and charge her with tresspassing on private property.

Being in what business? You a hooker?

Yeah

I am curious, as someone in the hotel business, what would you or your staff do if just before daybreak a Bangladeshi with no passport or other ID turns up with a brass who has no ID card but has a DL and wants to register in her name. Would you be wary or would you let the unidentified Bangadeshi and his squeeze check in?

I'm not in the business but I'm sure i would have told them both to sling their hook.

Several different scenarios,

1 would be to take down her information then alert authorities that there is an expat without a passport trying to check in.

2, might be to check them in and then alert the authorities.

I don't see any scenario, in this particular case, where kicking a girl is the right thing to do.

Maybe he is a criminal or maybe his passport is currently at immigration while he waits for a visa. Who knows?

having been in the hotel business for quite a few years you need to make sure your staff know their jobs reception need to make sure the people they are booking in are bona fide guests passport checks and where there is any doubt status checks .

isn't that typical, for that area?

man picksup hooker...and another gets jealous. Hotel trying to keep trouble out.

I wasn't there and don't know the parties concerned. Some seem to know more and have all the answers.

The only typical behavior is that of judging others in the absence of verifiable fact.

Good to read that the story has been finalized (with the outcome that I expected).

Unbelievable what prejudiced crap has been posted in this thread.

This "hotel" really needs to educate its staff!

Nobody is pointing fingers at this girl....and I don't like to see any girl manhandled.

we are all grown up and know that there are several hotels that make unescorted ladies show id. It's done for security, due to the sheer number of prostitutes operating out of bars and also walking the beach area of pattaya...

A good lady could find herself in a similar situation, no doubt. However, I would think single ladies would be aware of the possible tagging.

I would like to see it stop, just as well as you would. However, these hotels will still be enforcing the "unescorted lady" rules as usual. No other way to do it.

If this changes throughout pattaya...please then publish that. This particular hotel screwed up by manhandling her....the id will still be required.

Nothing wrong with that, she should have her ID card on her at all times, driving licenses are 2 a penny to get in Thailand, and fake, the ID card is a little harder, and the guests come first

I agree we only get to see the bit filmed outside, and not the actual inside trouble, hookers can be a big problem at times

Yesterday's story was she arrived at daybreak trying to gain access to her boyfriends room, today we are told she was trying to book a room prior to the arrival of her boyfriend. Generally one cannot get into a room until after midday unless you had paid for the night before. I still feel the woman behaved badly and infuriated the staff. Of course I do not condone any physical contact, that is more to do with local mentality. My wife (Thai) would, under no circumstance try to do this in a Pattaya hotel, she has been worried sometimes even when we arrive together to check in. Some hotels employ strict rules regarding entrance of unaccompanied females and unregistered guests, some had required proof of marriage. There have been enough scenes in hotel corridors over the years and people wandering corridors looking for unlocked doors.

Seems to me there are a lot of OPs here that care very little about a potential woman customer being aggressively attacked by a male employee.

Wild speculation at its worst.

The ones that write about a woman being a whore are most likely to be one themselves as they claim to know so much about a woman from a picture and a one sided story.

Extremely judgemental !!!!!

Do you know the woman - NO !!

Do you know if the woman has been to those premises before - NO !!

Do you agree with the actions of the male "receptionist" in striking women ????

Sounds like yes !!!

The response from the Hotel Owners/Management in regards to that particular incident I found to be commendable.

Unlike most of the baseless judgemental comments made here on TV.

So the receptionist was also a hooker? I'm not seeing the relevance of the comments.

I read that a woman tried to get into a hotel, showed her drivers license instead of her national ID, receptionist said "no", woman got upset and an argument got out of hand.

Am I missing part of the article ?

And why the hell won't a hotel accept a DL instead of an national ID? It's got her name, photo nationality and address on it.

Because it's the law.

Very true, but this website caters to all views, not just yours, and by the way I gree with you.

What do you mean???

Do you really feel you need to point that out ???

What's your point ???
