Police were called to the “Two Lion Restaurant” inside Soi 9 off the Central Pattaya Road after receiving a complaint from Khun Pimwilai aged 25 concerning her boyfriend Mr. Felix Lookso aged 36 from Sweden.

She claimed that he had become enraged and attempted to assault her inside the restaurant which is owned by Mr. Jonas from Sweden, as a result of a heated argument between the pair. Police arrived and spoke with the owner of the restaurant who was unable to stop Mr. Lokso who smashed a fridge and other items. Eventually Police managed to control the man who, according to his Girlfriend, would often become aggressive towards her wherever the argument takes place.

In this case around 10,000 Baht in damage was caused which was covered by Mr. Lokso and no charges were brought against him by the Police.

Smash up everything you want and then pay for the damage...............really effective policing !

I suspect it is up to the owner to press charges or not. Probably got a tip above the damage compensation.

Word on the street is that the Thai refrigerator in conjunction with the police is seeking compensation in the amount of 200,000 baht... because just before he smashed it... he placed his hand on the rear of the refrigerator.

Good thing he didn't call his friend 'Hans'; he could have ended up with a life sentence. :o

Or maybe Hans could have stared down the refrigerator until it exploded. :D

nah, the fridge would have given him the cold shoulder :D

All in all it must be considered better if someone, regardless of nationality, who find themself in a state of fury beat the crap out of a fridge rather than go for a living being. Whatever caused this fridge bashing will probably never be revealed in full, maybe his beer wasn't chilled to his liking.

People with violent tendences lurk all around and can be triggered easily by almost anything that they find annoying. It might be a (good) idea for certain establishment owners to consider installing an ..."Anger Management Facility"! Nothing fancy. Just a boxing ball will do. Preferably with a bouncing capability that might add a moment of thrill :o:D . If nothing else, he or she will eventually cool down and refrain from smashing up the entire place. I suppose.

Be good or not. Up to you,
