AOT is ready to add new facilities to the new airport.

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited prepared to add more facilities to Suvarnabhumi Airport because of the expected rising number of passengers.

Mr. Chotisak Asapaviriya (โชติศักดิ์ อาสภวิริยะ), President of AOT, said AOT had plans to expand the food court in the new airport so that it can support employees and low-income groups. Parking lots for public transportation, signs for directions in the terminals and restrooms will also be added.

Aside from that, AOT will expand the warehouses’ areas to 40,000 square meters to support the growth of logistics at the new airport. Last but not least, the number of trolleys and luggage staffs will be doubled due to the increasing number of passengers, and the overall scenarios will surely be improved.
