KhunBENQ Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 More than once in Khon Kaen. Check your hairstyle before applying 2
lopburi3 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 They have been doing for years here in Bangkok for extension of stay (also have done fingerprints) but have never had for 90 day reporting.
IMA_FARANG Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 t has been done before for when applying for a retirement extension at CW. Had it done to me once when I applied for my first retirement yearly extension in October 2012. That was the first and last time I ever had my picture taken in CW immigration however. Wonder if my ugly face broke her camera?
Tywais Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 They have been doing for years here in Bangkok for extension of stay (also have done fingerprints) but have never had for 90 day reporting. Also in Chiang Mai sans fingerprints.
jacky54 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Every time I do an extension or apply for a re entry permit they do it at samut prakan, TM30 also as well as every page of passport copied, 4 copies for 90 day reports
Kasset Tak Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I have had my picture taken in Tak, Phitsanulok, Nakorn Sawan and Mukdahan when applying for extensions over the past 4 years so it's nothing new.
elgordo38 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I got my picture taken for the first time when I applied for my extension in August here in Ubon.. Other offices have been doing it for sometime now. Hi Ubonjoe Am I reading this correct they now want photo's for 90 day reporting? Does this spell the death knell for using the mail. This is the last semblance of reason we have left here in Chiang Mai. Annual extensions are just a pure nightmare. Just when I thought things could not get worse I now read this. I am just amazed that our consulates or embassy's cannot step in and reason these problems out. All I see on their behalf is a lot of hand shaking glad handing in the media. Its disgusting. 1

Other offices have been doing it for sometime now. Hi Ubonjoe Am I reading this correct they now want photo's for 90 day reporting? No, he and the other posters are only referring to a photo when getting an extension not for 90 day report. Mail-in is still not an issue.
Suradit69 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 They have been doing for years here in Bangkok for extension of stay (also have done fingerprints) but have never had for 90 day reporting. Likewise I have had my photo taken at Jomtien a few times, but not the last year or two, when doing the extension.
lopburi3 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 The original post was confusing as started with saying 90 day report - but he then stated also did extension at same time so the photo requirement would have been for that.
meatboy Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 we must be a good honest lot in korat.as it was the first time i saw them. thats more than can be said about the new STAFF.
craigt3365 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I had my pic taken on my last 90 day report here in Jomtien. Everybody was having their pic taken.
ubonjoe Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I they wanted a pic for when my 90 day reports are done it would be of my wife because she does them for me.
MobileContent Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I had my pic taken on my last 90 day report here in Jomtien. Everybody was having their pic taken. Correct - In Pattaya they take now pictures on 90 days reporting. A lot of farangs are here in Isaan on extension of stay in Pattaya but they paid a visa agent to let them qualify for the extension of stay. The Immigration Chief of Sakon Nakhon advised everyone that do their extension of stay and 90 days reporting in Pattaya to switch in the very near future to the immigration in Sakon Nakhon or move back to Pattaya. In the past they just mailed their passport to Pattaya and got their 90 days reporting done by not travelling to Pattaya and according to her this is violation of the immigration rules. Its a complicated situation for many that do not have the funds of either 400k or 800k and some moved back to Pattaya already, especially after the SN immigration asked several retirees to show the bank book which they didn't had. 1
Kerryd Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Um, I just did my 90 day report at Jomtien 5 days ago and no photo taken or asked for. Must be a new requirement as a result of the Paris incident ? (When I did my last extension (end of May) I had new passport photos which I included with my paperwork, but they never took (or asked for) any additional photos.) 1
HerbalEd Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 They have been doing for years here in Bangkok for extension of stay (also have done fingerprints) but have never had for 90 day reporting. I've done many extensions in BKK but never been asked for a photo.

bridge2bridge Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I got my picture taken for the first time when I applied for my extension in August here in Ubon.. Other offices have been doing it for sometime now. After seven years of doing my extension NEVER had my pic taken at CW.
Jeffrey346 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Today I did my 90 day report plus my 1 year extension in Khon Kaen. They have been taking photos in KK for quite some time now. They also do a fingerprint scan if your file shows you never had one. They did my fingerprint when I extended my Visa last year. I must say I was in and out today in under 20 minutes with extension in hand. Can't beat that as I have had longer times just doing 90 day reports.. 1
soalbundy Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Never had that done in my 10 years in Surin
condobrit001 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Did my 90 day report online yesterday, approved today. Of course no pic needed. I think people are getting confused with visa extension, and 90 day report. 1
legend49 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Wouldnt it be nice for everyone if there was just one script for all Immigration offices to follow. And any changes could only be processed if the big boss signed off on it and made sure every Immigration office had the changes and followed them. The script would be available in the common foreign languages to Thailand on their website and the entrance to any Immigration office. Life would be more pleasant.
condobrit001 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 There is only one script for online reporting.
Borneo Baron Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 90 day reporting. I did my first one at SuperC Ladproa Road.No photo taken.Only problem when the officer looked through my passport and stood up and waving his arms and yelling something about why i didnt leave the country and pay 2000 Thb he then showed my passport to the female officer next to him and she told him he was looking at the wrong page.Very fast service on 6 minutes at the offic including the small drama. 1
Colabamumbai Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Why do people do 90 address reports in person? Unless going for a visa extension at the same time I can see no reason or purpose for it.
