A great car for DIY enthusiasts

Featured Replies

I am posting on this forum as this is an opportunity for a hands on enthusiast who likes to tinker with old cars.

I have a 1991 Honda Accord which was imported, I have had it and driven it for the last nine years. The last year has seen me relocated to China, so the car has been sitting unused for this time.

Within the last three years, the engine has been rebuilt, as has the auto transmission, Cooling system and AC compressor renewed.the tires are like new.

Mechanically it's a fine car but leaving a car unused in such weather conditions was not wise, now the battery Is dead, but I am convinced it would start via a jump lead. It could also appreciate a paint job.

I estimate that over the last four years, I have spent possibly 60k on above mentioned parts. This car holds a special place in my heart and experiences in Thailand, hence I am loathe to scrap it, even though I have been offered 55k by scrap agents, this car deserves more.

Any enthusiast wishing to get their hands on it, which I would love to see, please PM me a with a email address and I will give you more details and pictures. The car is undercover in the Chaeng Wattana area of BKK

By rights this should be in the Classifieds.

But I am going to let it remain here as it is kind of a niche market item.

ClareQuilty, here's a heads up.

Pics would be good.

Plenty of non runners needing a total respray on the car siteswhistling.gif
