Can't access Apple TV settings menu

Need to go to settings to log in with a new apple password. Apple TV seems to be working fine, but when I press the MENU button on my remote, I just get a black screen on the TV. Then a few minutes later "movies ads from itunes" start flashing by. Nothing seems to work.

Do a search for VPN.

BBC iPlayer just recently came to the Apple TV (Read here: http://www.theverge.com/2015/12/14/10090844/bbc-iplayer-apple-tv-app) and might only work with the newest Apple TV.

You cannot set up VPN on Apple TV. The easiest solution is to use a DNS proxy service.

You are right, you can have your AppleTV connected to the Router which is then connected to a VPN.

I guess all this depends on the speed of an internet connection

If you have slow internet, you can always use a service like ThaiExpatTV or iLikeHD, but my Internet is so slow I can't use any of them without constant buffering
