I've been reading all the posts here before handling my Visa in. Thank you everybody here for your comments, words and wisdom. It was very useful.

I went to submit the visa application at VFS Bangkok on 11 Nov 2015

Then I got the first text: "The visa application for gwfxxxx was forwarded to UKVI on 11/14/2015."

Then a few days ago I got the text "The processed visa application for gwfxxxx was received on 11/24/2015"

So I've been expecting to get something like "you can collect your passport on ...." However, there's nothing after the second text.

I can't figure out what does the second text mean. The processed Visa application was received by who? What do they want me to do next? What do you suggest? Please help.

I think VFS has it.

Who sent the 24/11 email, fco.gov.uk or vfsglobal.com? Although the wording is a little different it sounds like its the normal VFS email to me;

"The processed visa application for GWF reference number - gwf0xxxxxxxx was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 3/3/2015 . "

Their mail normally goes on to say;

"If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times. "

Edit: just noticed these are texts not mails, VFS has it (but will mail it if you ordered that.

You get the text message if you have paid 70 Baht (or whatever the current rate is) for the sms service. They are inconsistent with their emails.

Yes yes yes! Thank you again you all! I got it in my mailbox but I got too many mails so I unintentionally overlooked at it. My ears are numb because my far away BF is telling me off lol but at least the wait is finished! Got rejected last time from insufficient evidence so this time has been so stressful. I really hope this time I get it. Fingers crossed kaaa.
