GarryP
As much as I despise the individuals concerned, please tell me what they have actually done wrong. Before the anti-red shirt mob start making lists, I mean now, as in today. What have they done wrong by attempting to visit the supposed park? Misuse of section 116 of the Penal Code perhaps. I agree with everything you say here. I am another who would like to see folk in the monkey house for their actions and words but not for going on holidays. Maybe they are part of the mysteriously elusive 9 miscreants that the junta are looking for in the disrupting the important bike event? Arrested for being in charge of a mindset differing to the junta, perhaps? If anybody wishes to reply disagreeing with me please consider the recent demonstration by the the monk Issara in your excuses justification. I disagree with you for a start. I don't make any excuse. A demonstration by 200 people compared with a man calling for the destruction of a city. What is your excuse for that? Perhaps they were arrested for breaking the terms and conditions of their bail. You DO know that they out on bail, don't you. One of the terms that they agreed to was not to be involved in ANY public demonstrations. How can you justify a man who freely admitted to asking the Redshirts to bring a million bottles to Bangkok where he would supply the gasoline to burn Bangkok to the ground and that HE, personally would take the responsibility. He never did take the responsibility though. The videos are still out in Youtube land. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/thailand/7740752/Thailand-protests-Bangkok-burns-as-army-smashes-Red-Shirt-camp.html http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/world/2010-05-19-thailand-wednesday_N.htm http://www.bbc.com/news/10127048 Edited November 30, 2015 by billd766
Just1Voice
Ok, so TWO men, who happen to be Red Shirts, are going to the park, and the Army arrests them. For what???? But you have a mad Monk, who is about as Buddhist as my dog, leads a group of 20+, (even though the LAW says no more than 5!) to protest at the American Embassy, and no one even blinks. Does the term "Double Standards" ring any bells???? This government is totally disgusting and pathetic.

slapout
When you consider the types they say they represent in action, I doubt that they would care if they were brain dead, as they may not see any difference between thamselves and the leaders. Its all one big family of incompetant layabouts, with a arm and hand stretched stretched out, palm up as they just cannot accept that people need to work, earn a living, and contribute to society, which does include your own family (mother) in one case. "LMAO - clearly an attempt to shift attention from their terrorist plot to assasinate the PM and others." Has that been proven yet John, or is this inside information you get from your elite sources? "They are doing the exact thing they accuse the government of doing." And what is that, John? " What a pair of hypocrites" John, now you're obsessing again. "Why would they not wait until tomorrow after the report is published to see what the official position is first ?" The junta has had numerous positions on this subject, and none of them have even been remotely believable so maybe that's why, John. "It makes no sense." You forgot to add "to me", John. A lot that makes sense to most of us is clearly beyond your comprehension. Edited November 30, 2015 by MZurf

The Deerhunter
Please lock them away. Yes, absolutely, but for proper convictions for proper criminal charges, in a proper court of law. Not for vague charges of convenience under S44 or LM stuff at a military court. Make it clear and definite for things that will still be understood and still stand scrutiny in 5 or 10 years time. Otherwise the martyr syndrome which is inevitable, will just be all that stronger. I have had it up to here with these sorts of people saying or doing terrible things and then excuses or corny interpretations being applied to make it like it never happened. "Bring a litre of petrol each...... etc etc" was one that didn't get the correct response at the time and was easily worth a long stretch on bread plain rice & water.
