Designed bathroom fixtures

Featured Replies

What are some good stores to buy designed/upscale bathroom fixtures?

Basically looking for a nice element for the shower that has everything integrated (pressure, thermostat, shower hose, and shower holder), see example below.

I was in Boonthavorn: near Bang Na last week with a friend who just finished a house and was looking for kitchen and bath fixtures. There was a good number of shower options from a variety of manufacturers with a large selection of the type you want; B3000 to B30,000. Make sure you go to the upstairs plumbing area and not just the displays on the ground floor for a much larger selection.

Some nice stuff in Ikea; Mega Bang Na, but limited selection and pricey. Home Pro in Ploen Chit has a decent selection but not nearly as extensive as Boonthavorn.

I wonder if a thermostat tap works with an electric boiler since they give very low pressure on the warm water. Also you will have to hide the boiler or the hose at least.

Quality brands are very expensive in Boonthavorn, especially the rain showers.

When i bought my rainshower i had to change the tap to get a decent amount of water out of it. What's a rainshower if it doesn't give much water right?

I would recommend ceramic watertaps, not the oldstyle rubber valves.

Homepro expo has a lot of them in muang thong thani and they might have some on sale. But if you google you'll find brands like Grohe much cheaper on the web.
