BANGKOK -- FYI, Hello Kitty is a girl, not a cat.

Hello Kitty, the classic Sanrio character adored by all Asian girls worldwide, will lead her troops of cat ladies and gentlemen in a 5k race, Hello Kitty Run Thailand, next month.

Under the theme of Link Love Together, hardcore Hello Kitty fans will get to sport their crazy pink gear and run for the chance to win a limited Hello Kitty medal. There will also be other activities and cute character-themed food at the event.
