For me on my working days a fag and a coffee will do the job- enough nutrition intake later...

But I have to admit, even the British empire hasn't much contributed to the culinary landscape worldwide,a proper English breakfast is my absolute favourite...

What about you???

Dont like that myself, find it too much, fried egg, fried bacon, fried bread, probably fried sausages (yes I know can be grilled too). If it is all pretty much fried its a "heart attack on a plate" !

I dont eat too much first thing, maybe some toast and marmalade, or cold milk on fruit-n-fibre type cereal, but an absolute must is my Tea! cant and wont do nothing til I have had my morning Cuppa Char biggrin.png

For a long time I've been having muesli, banana (most days, sometimes change to another fruit but nana is best), mixed nuts and berries, milk, plain yoghurt (sometimes coconut yoghurt) and a drizzle of honey, with a pot of ground coffee (at least 2 cups). I have it at home or at my work desk. Never get tired of it...some nights in bed I look forward to breakfast.

Weekends I'll do fried eggs on salami on ham on toast for me and the kids.

Love though having a big breakfast in a decent hotel like Sofitel in Hua Hin and KK or Princess in Korat.

Black coffee , no sugar ,or a Green Tea first up. Then about 9.00 am i will have something like a toasted tomato sandwich on wholemeal , perhaps with cheese, iceberg lettuce , or any other salad items i can find. Occasionally some chicken or similar thrown onto the sandwich too. Not a conventional breakfast but it has become somewhat of a habit to me.

Past 30 years mostly the same

7 mugs black coffee, 1x yoghurt, bowl of cornflakes with a banana when I can find any.. the odd times like today have 2 croissants..

Just could not face anything fried 1st thing in the morning, never been a Full English Breakfast person. Sausage or Bacon or Egg sandwich for Lunch does me fine once of twice a week.

Since here the daily US style breakfasts have pretty much faded away....

But with whatever is cooked Thai/western for breakfast we always have toasted sourdough bread on the table....Me and the girls with 0% milk & the wife with espresso....

Once saw a menu in a restaurant in Bali.

The continental and full breakfast was as you would expect.

The Australian breakfast was a beer, a cigarette and an aspirin.

Made me laugh.
