Thai Songs You Are A Bit Embarrassed To Like!

Featured Replies

My wife detests this - comparing the singer to a Thai Celine Dion. However i think cheesy ballads and pop sound much better in Thai than English (perhaps coz i dont understand them)

any way i really like this

That Madonna song about time - the one she prances about in a leotard.

Sexy as <deleted> for a grannie. The one that's a rip off of the old Abba number - a band I was also very embarrassed to like when I was walking about in bondage gear and spiky dyed hair.

:o

oh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

sorry, but thai ballads make me want to vom!! :o

I am not ashamed of any Thai songs I like.

I like Tee Chaiyadej's songs, especially the album After Brake. Great mellow acoustic singer-songwriter music. I also like a few songs by Silly Fools and even more so, Modern Dog.

T-Bone are great live but unfortunately their studio albums dont have the raw edge they would need to really work.

Caravan's 70s music is fantastic, and a few songs by Carabao are pretty catchy as well.

As for the modern type of cheese pop, it makes me want to go berserk and rip the heads off of pink teddy bears, and become an artist for the sole purpose of placing Hello Kitty heads in photographs of war, misery and humiliation.

Oh yeah, before I forget, does anyone have the number for a psychologist? :o

I like the somtam song from the Morlam Summer.

Sung by Annie Hargett.

We have the Karaoke version and I can do a very good rendition, although I must say Annie is much better looking.

Also that song, don't know what it is called but it is asking...who call me, why you call me...does anyone know this one?

:D I like sexy naught titch - that's what my 8 year old thought it was called :o . I am also strangely moved by Loy Loy Kratong and the national anthem.
