Serviced Apartments In Pattaya...

Featured Replies

Hi, Can anyone here recommend me a good quality serviced apartment (safe, clean, good location, maid service etc) for between 10-20k per month?. It seems there is so much accomodation in Pattaya making it difficult to tell the bad from the good.

Many Thanks,

Hi Mask, hope you don't mind me piggy-backing on your post but I am also looking for similar accommodation in Pattaya for about the same price. I am here for about eight weeks to do some charity work with the Mercy Mission and would appreciate any advice. Perhaps we can share info. If anyone has any ideas please help...

I have a detatched house ,3 bedrooms, beautifully furnished, the house is very secure.locatin north pattaya ,opposite healthland.30,000 a month plus utility bills

You could try nova park appartments the web site is www.novaparkpattaya.com or www.argyle.co.th if that helps. :o

Thanks for tips. Do you have any personal experience with either of these places? - Nova Park looks very nice and a great location just tucked behind soi 2

Yes My brother & family have stayed in nova park many times very nice appartments with very nice staff. The irish bar jameson is part of the appartments so you get nice food & great beers its good value for the money. :o

Yes it looks nice although the rates are quite high. I will have to see if they give a significant discount for long stays.

I just reserved and confirmed diamond city place for 13.980 bht for 1 month and it was for dec and jan....peak season....cant beat that....if anyone can...please let me know....leap of faith....the pics were great....will post upon arrival!!!!!

Your best bet would be to book into a budget hotel for a

couple of days and then be prepared to 'pound the pavement'.

Lots of budget places in the following areas, many of them new.

South end of 3rd road.

South end of Soi Buakeow.

Soi LK Metro.

To name but a few.

Naka.

2 serviced hotels you should avoid are Shagwell Mansions and Nova Park. Both are noisy and the rooms are hot. Both have noisy cultural events just outside the rooms. Both have very unreliable wifi. The only plus to both is that the cleaning service is top notch but neither is in a great location. In fact, both streets are dangerous after dark. Read the news archives if you don't believe me...

Many Thanks,

There are plenty of private jobs around the place.

The best way to do it is to come to Pattaya first stay in a cheap hotel for a couple of days and then go and have a look around.

If it is only a month a cheap hotel is often easier as no deposit is required and you get a room cleaned and beds changed etc....can be done for 15000 a month.

Alternatively if you really want to save money go and stay where a lot of the bargirls live and you can get rooms for 3000 baht a month and you won't have to pay barfines as they are already on the premises. I know a few of these places and some farangs love living there.

Yes those pictures do look good, quite reasonable prices. Although the location is not the best unfortunately.

Do you have any recommendations yourself?

It all depends how you define serviced. There are dirt cheap apartments starting at 3000 baht furnished. A/C and water extra . For a small fee, one can have their room cleaned as desired but you are responsible for laundering your linens and towels. It's still cheaper this way.

careful though cause that place screws you for 7 baht elect and flat 350 bt monthly water charge. rather outrageous but perhaps similar to other like dumps

A friend stayed there from March to the end of September, at 15.000 baht per month, 1 bedroom condo, quite nice. Electricity expensive though (I think 5 baht per unit).
