What is "off limits" to the President? What is the source of your information, some Hollywood B-fare movie or pulp fiction? Why do we have people with a continual need to believe in secret cabals and "deep state" idiocy? How does the so-called "Deep State" recruit? Is it hereditary, like royalty? Do they send out folks to MIT and Stanford to pick people? Maybe you think Men in Black is actually a documentary? Reality is that government is a bureaucracy, people by a combination of opportunists who might not be able to find gainful employment anywhere else, or people looking for a specific type of action (e.g., agency or FBI), people who want to pad a resume and use it as a stepping stone into the private sector, people merely serving the current Administration, who will be gone when a new Admin comes in, and maybe even some selfless patriots who want to give back to the nation. If there really was any truly deep deep secrets, somebody would sell them for a bazillion dollars. Moles and penetrations sell ordinary secrets to foreign intelligence entities, like the FSB, Mossad, the MSS, etc., but those secrets are not Earth shaking, as would "aliens among us" be. Of much greater concern to normal people is that as bad as Trump is, a replacement who thinks aliens are actually demons is even scarier. Ideally we have sane and honest people running the show. Sadly, we have neither now until at least January 2029, even if Trump kicks the bucket. Just Carnival People and lunatics.
