Could be more trouble than it's worth.The sound system is different although this should just be a software adjustment, the big problem is with the tuning.The UK only uses the UHF frequency but Thailand uses both UHF and VHF (L and H) tuning bands. Check with a qualified engineer to see if your set has a multi band tuner and the associated switching circuitry fitted. If not then it would be too expensive to modify.

Unless you plan to watch the local channels (?) you will have no problem

connecting up your UBC box via the AV cable.
