So my wife (Thai) and I (American) want to take our baby(American) and nanny(Thai) with us for a 4 week trip to Germany. Is there any good strategies for applying for the visas for the nanny, should I just say that shes an aunt in the family? Is there going to be a lot of problems with getting visas for such a long trip? Anyone done this before

Took out Nanny to USA for a vacation not to work, daughter wanted her to go. They declined the tourist visa instead giving her a B visa to work as a nanny on the trip I had to provide a work contract guaranteeing USA wages while she worked in USA. There reasoning was that she wouldn't babysit one day or do dishes, laundry etc. I explained that it wouldn't happen but they insisted on the B visa and contract. Submitted the contract she got the visa. By going with her employer it shows she will return to Thailand. So just be honest with them and have a contract already written in Thai showing her wages in Thailand and while travelling.
