Liberty Mutual Insurance (LMG) office in Pattaya?

I am chasing down a car reinsurance quote and wondering if LMG still have a Pattaya office? I think I saw their sign either on Sukhumvit or 3rd Road but not sure. Their website kicks out a Chonburi address (20000 zip code) but doesn't pinpoint anything in google maps. Just asking before I have to pick up the phone and speak to someone with less English ability than myself... before the weekend kicks off!

MLG and Macallan are not LMG. They are insurance brokers.

It may have been there but certainly not there now.

Possibly was there but I checked both sides of Sukhumvit in that area and no luck.

I used the online renewal quote option on their website that requests the current policy details and a contact email address and phone number. I got the popup message that it was successfully received and they would call me. Sure enough next day they called me and asked first, "Do you speak Thai?". No (Not well enough to go into details of total loss coverage, deductibles and the NCB discount. Then they asked, "Can we talk with your wife?" No. (She's not attached to my hip and similarly challenged on insurance terminology but not for language reasons). Their response is, "Sorry, we cannot help you." So I suggested they simply send the renewal quote to my email address as provided. They said , "Cannot." SMS maybe? "Cannot."

I guess I will try lucky dip on Monday and see if I can find their office in Meuang Chonburi. The NCB applied last year was over 5000 baht and gut-feel on the figure they quoted in an earlier call to my sister-in-law (they have all my relatives numbers... but not my email apparently), it's around the same for this renewal. Not to be written off IMHO.

Unless of course someone responds with a horror story about LMG service in Chonburi first. Their renewal customer service is blighted but I guess it's more important to assess their responsiveness in times of urgent need.

We were in the LMG office recently paying car insurance. Heading south on Sukhumvit it is about 100 metres past the Highway 7 junction. I think it was next to an air conditioner service shop.

Make sure you take your Thai language with you, absolutely zero English.

I was in their Chonburi office today and ended up talking on the phone to the Assistant Manager who just happened to be in their Pattaya office (!). It is indeed SOUTH of the motorway spur on the dark side of Sukhumvit and not further north on the sea side where we thought it was. It isn't listed on their website at all.

He speaks great English BTW but none of the staff at the Chonburi office were fluent either but the girl that hooked me up with her boss did understand what I wanted.

All in all a 40 minute drive but all sorted in the Chonburi office in less than 20 minutes after the Udon office emailed the renewal quote for me to see. Pity they couldn't have done that last Saturday.

Still going around in circles regards the NCB as it isn't mentioned at all in the quote although the quote is about 3500 baht less than last year. They have reduced the total loss payment from 900,000 baht to 810,000 baht so not sure if I am getting a better deal at all.
