having put up with the sad nhs dentistry that the uk provides{lovely black fillings},i decided that if i must pay for decent treatment ill try the thai dentists.i have used them in phuket{patong}for whitening,2 in bangkok for white filling replacements ,one near pantip and 1 near ko san rd..they were all fine with no pain to report and a third of the price of the uk butchers....as im regularlly in samui{me and the wife have a house there} i decided to find a regular dentist for some more work and check ups....i was pleased to find 1 called baan luck fun805/5 moo 6..bophut{nr tesco lotus...i cannot speak highly enough of them...they replaced my remaining black fillings with porcelain inlays, strong as original teeth and look great, and cost 5000baht each...in the uk theyd be 20000bht each,im so chuffed that im gonna let em do some veneer work...soon im gonna have perfect nashers all for a fraction of the uk sadists....give em a try there that painless i actually fell asleep during having work done......can any of you also recomend good thai dentists????? : :o

During my recent very enjoyable visit to the Island had my teeth cleaned at Dental Home which is near the exit at Tesco-Lotus

Cost 2,000 baht and that included a check up.

This was a bit more than expected but they did need a bit of cleaning - the red wine does give the bottom row a bit of a hammering :o

Between coco blues and chaweng international hospital (on the beach side, red and white tooth picture on their sign) is a dentist, cheap and NO PAIN, very carefully and good work.

Many expats on this island use this dentist.
