Polish authorities claim papers prove Walesa's Communist ties

WARSAW: -- Poland’s state archives have released 700 pages of documents it says prove former President Lech Walesa was a paid informant of the communist-era secret police.

The Institute for National Remembrance published the papers, which date from 1970 to ’76 and include the former leader’s code name ‘Bolek’ underneath his signature.

Historian Sławomir Cenckiewicz, who wrote a book on Walesa’s alleged collaboration with the secret services agreed with the Institute:
“Before this I knew of eight documents signed by secret collaborator Bolek – Lech Walesa,” says this historian. Now I have seen dozens or even more – I didn’t count. This is a classic example of documentation proving a secret agent’s collaboration.”

Walesa, who rose to prominence for his role in the collapse of Communism, admits he signed them, but denies collaborating with the secret police.

Speaking from a tour of the Americas, Walesa was guarded about the new release:
“But also I have signed apparently some things that I have some difficulties with today and I have to explain myself. And I have signed them in good faith, so let the history decide.”

It is not yet clear if the papers were fabricated by the police – a common practice at the time.

One handwritten note is included in the file. Dated December 21, 1970, it reads:

“I commit myself to cooperate with the secret police in exposing and fighting the enemies of the PRL (Polish People’s Republic).”

At the time, Walesa was leading worker protests in the Gdansk shipyard where he was working as an electrician. The demonstrations terminated in bloodshed.

The papers were kept for decades at the home of the last Communist interior minister, Czeslaw Kiszczak. In 1996, he left a note saying the file was not to be made public until five years after Walesa died. However, after Kiszczak passed away last year, his widow informed the institute of their existence, reportedly asking for money in return.

Too many post-communists, collaborators and uninformed/misinformed people in Poland by official medias in last 25 years. All these changes where made by an agreement between communist regime and the so called Solidarity in which ranks were names of communist collaborators, minorities to take control of the government like during Russian revolution. These people never were checked, they blocked all investigations regarding uncovering the communist past. They established new "democratic" system where they could take over national economy. So they did. Sacks was a "virtuoso" on Polish economy and all apparatchiks of communist party become new party like Platforma Obywatelska and other having nothing in common with true democracy. This was just a smokescreen for the west and Polish uninformed/misinformed population. Until now this sick system was as strongly embedded as a previous Moscow directed system. This is a first time the true democratic forces have green light to make the changes in judicial system by replacing these judeocommunists and to change and improve the law and order. Don't forget that in Russia today many people still would like to see soviets with Stalin. They have no idea of what was going on during Stalinism. They have no idea that communism killed 100 million people around the world. Hitlerism - Stalinism - National Socialism, or International Socialism were Hitlerism and Stalinism. Ideologies so similar to each other, but not in theory, in practice. Brainwash at its perfected optimum.

Solidarity changed in 1980. They broke into fractions. The fraction of appeasement won. Directed by minority with Michnik (his brother a Jew is well known criminal who worked for SB and soviets and now free in Sweden) and many others, Walesa become the mapet with the cross-Pope and big pen, or someone who could be trusted and manipulated. Now finally the truth will come out and hopefully some of those will be prosecuted to the letter. Long live the new democracy in the making! This shall cut umbilical cord of Putin and Merkel with the fifth column and forces working against Polish interests.
