Man collapses, dies at Phuket 'love hotel'

PHUKET: -- Police believe that an asthma attack killed a man who collapsed and died at a hotel in Chalong just before he was to join a woman he met at a local karaoke bar on the hotel bed.

Called to Chalong Inn in Soi Hayak, near Chalong Circle at 2:30am yesterday (Feb 22), police and rescue workers were led to the body of 46-year-old Anurak Chimmee, lying halfway through an outside doorway near the hotel office.

Hotel staffer Min Min Thun told police that he found Mr Anurak collapsed on the floor by the door and convulsing and breathing heavily, and rushed to help him.

“We found an asthma inhaler by the victim’s feet, but there were no signs of assault on the body,” said Maj Thada Sodarat of the Chalong Police.

To answer your question, if it was not sensationalized no one would read about it. That and Mr. Bino would not be able to tell us what a superior human being he is while at the same time gloating for some reason over the manner of the victim's death. Bravo Bino! Thailand is no longer a Third World country, more like second world (as in middle income).

Ladies in Thailand who go with men for money are not necessarily peasants (in any sense of the word).

It is quite possible that the gentleman in question was having an interlude with someone who did not want anyone else to seem them or even to have a night alone with his regular partner to get away from the kids (which is what love motels were originally invented for in Japan!)

Especially when guys get older I have heard there is significant shrinkage in the lower regions, I would want to die with my underwear on.

And he did not even commit the act? Says she was on the bed waiting for him, as he was using his inhaler? Sounds like a cover up in an attempt to say face for this guy. And he was not able to reach his inhaler? What's up with that? His asthma was so bad he could not reach his inhaler? Something is very fishy here. Something is not right.

In general there is very little reported in the media that I believe at face value. This is definitely one of those times.

The report said he died "BEFORE" So maybe they don't bother cleaning the place? Sad, RIP and hope it didn't hurt. ( I would be gutted if I had paid up front - Especially with that filthy room and semen stained towels.)

According to a Thai specialist I know , the incidence of fellows taking as little as a full viagra tablet and passing away from a heart attack or a stroke is huge , and one of the largest but 'covered up' causes of death amongst over 50's in the kingdom.

He says the cause of death is simply recorded , but the suspected root cause is not.

What use is a photo of an empty bed?would rather have a photo of his partner to see if she(he?)is worth dying for.
