Anahech Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Sorry if this question sounds really weird, but I couldn't find anything on internet about it: is it possible to rent a piano for a year in Koh Samui ?
samuijimmy Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Never actually seen a piano here on Samui, but there is a shop, in Bophut that has a sign showing a keyboard, saying "Piano", but I am not sure if the sell / rent or just give lessons... If memory serves, it's in the Samui Shopping Centre, (?) which is on the left side.... between Maenam, but closer to Bophut.... Something in my mind says there is another shop on the right side of the road as well.... but cannot remember exactly where! Something else for you to check out when you are looking for a house! Perhaps someone else can provide more details?
Rooo Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 One at Samui Town Center on your left heading from Bophut lights towards Chaweng& another shop on the right heading towards Big C. As Jim said could be ust for lessons but no harm in asking.
khunPer Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I know the Piano School almost across BigC – my daughter been attending it – and they can probably help you with piano renting and also a tuner, who regularly comes down from Bangkok (I've used him, and he can also do repair jobs). Otherwise you can locally buy very reasonable priced small electric pianos that may "do the job", when it's only temporary for about a year. There's also a music (piano) school in Nathon, on the sea side of the Ring Road when leaving Nathon towards North, i.e. Bo Phut/Chaweng direction.
