Contacted MaxNet to get internet. Got the idea because they were sending a bill to the last resident of the house we just moved into. The bill is up to around B1,800 now and the ex-tenant is unreachable. However, we were informed that we cannot have internet until the ex-tenant cancels the account. This can't be right. Maxnet would rather keep sending a delinquent bill to a non-existent customer rather than welcome new paying customers. How will they ever stay in business?

Any experiences in dealing with this sort of logic?
